An amazing, unique talent-
A professional polished performance that was still warm, I was taken aback by Red NOT Chili Peppers - A Tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers's persona. Her vocal range and ability to play with her voice was fun, and thanked the audience between most songs. I know others have made comparisons w/ Kate Bush but last night I saw a (little) Joni Mitchell.
The crowd was civil and (gratefully) short in height at The Electric Factory, a great place to see a band. Seemed like mostly high school or college girls...with some boyfriends in tow. Some of the girls there are a bit too into it maybe- singing every lyric? Oh well I guess I've done that before too. I was on the floor.
The only thing I would have liked is if she could have come on a little earlier, and quicker after the warm up band. The concert itself started at 8:30 with the warm up band. When standing, the time between the warm up band and the next band is always too long...but I think we waited 45 minutes for her to come on.
